We treat ourself as and want to be as follows:
1. An agent of truth and protection of the interest of the victims of human rights abuse and thereby become an agent of positive change.
2. A centre to promote human rights culture with the help of all concerned stakeholders.
3. An immediate, trusted and convenient contact point for the victim/s of human rights abuse and/or their family member/s;
4. A partner in ensuring respect for human rights by
a) making people aware about their rights to which they are entitled to simply being a human;
b) making people aware about their rights and responsibilities to defend human rights in case of its violation and thereby as to how to raise voice against and fight those violations;
c) making people so responsible towards the promotion, protection and fulfilment of human rights as well as not to violate, not to be party in and benefit from the situation of human rights violation.
We feel proud as with our very limited capacity and resource we become voice of voiceless victims of human rights abuse throughout the country and able to ensure relief to them in various forms like providing protection, payment of compensation, appointment in government service as well as appropriate legal action against the perpetrators of human rights violation. Not only that we also feel proud in contributing towards policy development which in turn impact the human rights situation in the country.
